My interest in Arabic inscriptions and letters has been a driving force in my artistic journey, leading me to explore them through the mediums of calligraphy and ceramics. Modern calligraphy, in particular, has captivated me with its expressive possibilities. It allows me to blend traditional calligraphy techniques with contemporary styles, creating artwork that maintains the elegance of the past while embracing the creativity of the present. Through fluid lines, varying stroke widths, and unique lettering styles, I aim to bring a touch of sophistication to my work, drawing viewers into the beauty of Arabic script.

Maqbool Ahmed, born in Quetta, Balochistan, graduated with a degree in ceramics from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2023.
