Artist Statement:

In my art practice, I blend traditional Indian aesthetics
of miniature with modern techniques influenced by the
Bengal School of Art. My ideas and themes are often
drawn from mythology and mythical creatures of
Chitral. I aim to preserve and celebrate the rich culture
and heritage of my hometown.


Biography:

Pervez Uddin is a visual artist from Chitral, currently
enrolled in the Fine Arts department at National College
of Arts, Lahore.
