Artist Statement:

Through my art, I aim to challenge societal norms and
spark conversations about the objectification and
marginalization of women. Using symbolism and metaphors, I explore the
complexities of gender dynamics and power imbalances in our society. Inspired
by Mughal miniature paintings, I blend traditional techniques with contemporary
themes and narratives.


Biography:

Amjed Ali is a visual artist from Nushki, Balochistan,
currently enrolled in a double Bachelor’s degree in
Ceramics-Fine Arts at National College of Arts, Lahore.
