Artist Statement:

Haider’s miniature paintings explore themes of personal loss and absence. Using
gouache on wasli, he portrays elements such as a crumpled envelope containing a past moment or a
shroud enveloping a human body. His work embodies somber imagery, depicting moments of grief and
sorrow. Through his work, Ali also explores themes of transformation and change.

Biography:

Haider graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore with a bachelor's degree in fine arts,
majoring in Miniature in 2022.
