Artist Statement:

In my work, I focus on themes of conflict and violence and aim to express the profound impact of these issues on our society and culture. My art practice is deeply influenced by the turmoil and struggles faced by my community in my hometown Parachinar. I use bold, vibrant colors and dynamic forms to capture the emotions and narratives that arise from these experiences.


Biography:

Waseem Abbas is a visual artist from Parachinar. He graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 2024.
