Artist Statement:

My work revolves around minimalistic,
architectural spaces from my childhood and later on in life as I witnessed the
contemplation of dark and light and how it plays around these spaces I have
been around for so long. I observe light and associate it with the getaway from
the darkness.

Biography:

Mir Abdul Rafio is visual artist who belongs to Tando
Jam, Sindh and currently works and lives in Lahore. He recently graduated from Fine
arts department majoring in Printmaking from National College of Arts, Lahore.
His work is influenced by the architectural spaces of his hometown and the life
of common people.
